Charlie Banana

Wow, this review is a long time coming and let me tell you we tested that diaper, tested it again and again and again!  Babe started wearing it when he was about 6 months old and we used it in our diaper rotation until he was about 13 months old.  It was one of those diapers that I would dig through the pile to find because I liked it to so much!

Charlie Banana sent us a perfect sized diaper (Size M) for use and review. They state that the diaper usually fits from 15-30lbs but we found it was getting too small around the time babe reached 25lbs.  It was mostly the rise that was too short for babe at this time so it may fit a shorter babe a little longer.

This diaper is extremely trim and fit well under all clothing.  It wasn’t quite as trim as a Gro-Via but it was definitely more trim than a fuzzi bunz (our other fave diaper!)  The fact that it did not add extra bulk under clothing and onesies still snapped all the way up without pulling was an added bonus.

What did hubby like? The fact that the opening for the insert was at the top of the diaper. This meaning that when there was a mess inside or up the back of the diaper you do not have to put your hand anywhere near the mess!  Yes, it does mean that your hand may touch a little bit of baby pee but anything is better than the stink on the other end….right?

So would we buy more Charlie Banana? ABSOLUTLEY! In fact I can’t wait to buy this one….

Disclosure: I was given a Charlie Banana diaper for use and this review.  All opinions are my own.

They’ve made some changes in their dipes since then, so if I were you I’d get a good look at the new ones before buying. 😉 I love the original OS dipe, but wouldn’t buy the new version in a million years.
